HmongDictionary.com is the Online Hmong-English version of the Hmong Dictionary called "Lus Hmoob Txhais" compiled and written by Jay Xiong, ISBN: 0-9726964-0-7.

The purpose of this web site is to promote the Hmong Language as well as the English equivalent translation. This web site went live on April 15, 2004.

This web site is not a non-profit service and that means I have no support from the government other than the people who purchased my dictionary books and the software CDs. I will try my best to keep it up-to-date and have this service available to the public as long as I can; however, I hope that the information I provided here is useful and beneficial enough to the public that someone will consider supporting me either through the purchase of my dictionary book, software CD or just pure donation.

Without adequate support and funding, a good start may not reach any meaningful ending, and a good idea will remain just an idea without ever benefiting the world!

Please don't forget to read the Terms of Use before using and/or applying any of these words. Furthermore, please seek other Hmong books and dictionaries as a cross reference as well as consulting other Hmong speakers to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness prior to actual use.
